Tremendous length. It was flying high 8 hours into the decant. Amarena cherries and asphalt. — 2 years ago
Enticing & seductive with spicy, fresh red fruit, with some ripe cherry, a touch of amarena and a fresh, mineral edge. So fresh, lively, inviting.
Light yet luscious on the palate, vibrant juicy cherry acidity. Love the tannins - grippy yet sappy and quite polished.
Cherries & raspberries with a orange peel sidekick. Delicious.
This is a great wine - authentic & so fresh & juicy yet elegant at the same time.

2018 vintage. Owned by Roger Zannier. Vinified by João Cabral Nicolau de Almeida. Dark red with purplish rim. Intense nose with blackberry jam, amarena cherries and subtle oak. Powerful, but fresh , with layers of black fruit packed in a ripe tannic structure. Long spicy finish. Abv. 13,5%. — a year ago
Black candied amarena cherries dipped in melted bitterchocolate. Wow…
Complex nuances of asphalt, damp earth, soy sauce and oriental spice. Open and generous, wonderful freshness and purity. Not alcoholic at all, this is an extremely well-crafted and beautiful Port wine. 😍 — 2 years ago
Absurd value from @wtso
Pnp let sat for an hour or so, initially very jammy but that blew off.
N: Dark red fruits verging on black, Amarena cherries, tobacco, earth, iron.
P: That sense of iron repeats, virtually no tannins, Sense of place, yes.
As another reviewer said, you could drink this down easy.
We’re still looking for complexity though. — 2 years ago
1985 vintage. From a bottle with a perfect level. Deep colour still. Showing much younger than its age, the nose still features a lot of black fruit, mixed with spices and cedar wood. Concentrated layers of blackberries, amarena cherries, dark chocolate and spices in a powerful, yet elegant ripe tannic structure balanced by fresh acidity. Very long lingering finish. Excellent, but no hurry to drink this already, no signs of fatigue. — a year ago
Cold climate burgundy from far north Irancy. Quiet but very fresh on first taste, strong roses and violets. Day two acid mellowed and gave way to amarena cherries. Great value if you’ve got the time to let her breathe! — 2 years ago
N: Like cherries dipped in balsam/menthol. Mushrooms, underbrush, amarena cherries, leather,on and on.
P: Bright acids and furry tannins, but mid weight, stony, nary a trace of wood, blood/iron, so pleasurable. A sense of tar. Constantly evolving.

Medium garnet coloration. On the nose, amarena cherry and vanilla. On the palate, medium to full body, cherry, balsamic, herbs, red berry and vanilla. Tannins still strong. Medium to long finish. — 5 months ago
