Silver Oak

Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Solid Sonoma Cab that tastes like Left Bank Bordeaux. Supple feel, dark berries, cedar, graphite, tobacco. A little eucalyptus and a little espresso. Lengthy tannins. Drinkable now and will age for some time.

No, the wine was nice! Just pulling the Radiohead song that was on at that moment 😀 But @Anthony De Blasi was going for it!

Nervo Ranch Heritage Alexander Valley Red Blend 2024

This is the most forward and approachable of the new releases, a little tannic and structured, cellar 2-3 more years, drink now with aeration. — 2 months ago

Folie à Deux

Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Clear, deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cassis, cedar, and graphite on the nose; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of blackberries, black cherries, eucalyptus, and wet gravel with a medium finish. This wine is intense and complex, but a little too tannic and bitter for the amount of fruit (it probably needs more age, or more time in the decanter). After 30 minutes in a decanter, this wine is much more balanced and well integrated. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 4 months ago
