Woah. New go to beer alert for that crisp rice style beer I encountered backpacking all over Southeast Asia in my early 20s.
Airy, light, crisp, slight pear afternote. None of the weird malty aftertaste you sometimes get with these. Love it for classic, simple style beer to go with sushi or fried chicken. — 5 months ago
Cinquiemes Cru, Fifth growth Margaux very supple and approachable. I always pick a wine with the Chateau depicted on the label. Shows they are proud. Sir Winston Pub, Lille, France — a year ago

Drinking absolutely perfectly right now. Had a tasting with Eric a few years back who said he prefers his wines within the first few years, but I have to say that virtually every Booker wine I’ve had (save for the whites and roses) have improved substantially with a few more years in the cellar. We last had this in 2015, and it is substantially better now. At this stage I don’t think it’s going to improve much going forward, but it is terrific right now (so drink ‘em if ya got ‘em!). — 3 months ago

A gentle friend, with tannins and primary fruit scrubbed down. Acid and tertiary flavors remain. Very little iron. At Village Pub with DT — 10 months ago
