Lots of bottles were popped for Weston’s 40th! Only posting a few of my highlights!

This was actually my first time trying Greer. No way I would have believed this was from the ‘11 vintage. So much depth and concentration here. Richly textured, dense and open for business. Very dark in profile in both the nose and palate. Graphite, dust, dark chocolate, plums, cassis, and so much beautiful sweet blue and black fruits at the finish. Delicious.

Extremely concentrated and dense so if you're in the camp of "bigger is better" (well, then you're wrong ;-), this will be right up your alley.
Impressive for its sheer strength this should have a long life ahead and I look forward to tasting it again with 10+ years in the cellar.

Rob Greer has got to be the alchemist of oenology! He took a terrible vintage and has produced pure California gold. Finish goes on and on and on. I need to let it sit open for a while to open up. It might have to open up in my stomach!

Balanced and probably the best 2011 Napa Cab I’ve had

My first bottles of Greer and I got a 4 of a kind thanks to the kindness of @Eric LaMasters and @David L.....these are all dense, rich, pure wines with undeniable floral qualities. Notes of crushed rock, licorice and dark chocolate. Reminiscent of Scarecrow for me. As cool as it was to try these together (with dozens of other wines) I’d welcome the opportunity to enjoy just one or two over the course of a long dinner. The ‘09 and ‘12 are the most open knit and inviting right now. Highly recommended.

Have been a fan of Pott's The Arsenal from Greer Vineyard and was excited to learn he also made a wine for the Vineyard owner. Had the pleasure of tasting with Rob Greer during our last trip to Napa (4/15). This is just a spectacular wine. Beautiful fruit and silky mouthfeel, with an impressive balance of richness, acidity, alcohol and tannins - and a long finish.

Epic Rutherford....great nose and depth of flavor though perhaps not as full throttle as recent Greer’s....as good if not better than any 2011 I’ve had
