Edward Lewis Cellars

Pretty Woman Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Jeb 97,
90% Cabernet with some CF & Petit Verdot
Out of the trunk tasting,
Not a fruit bomb, definitely has 20-25 years of aging potential like the Beau Vigne Reserve, Ed Sniders last winery
Even though it was only $75.00 I’d store it with the Sodhani & Greer for a couple years before opening another one

James Cole

Mud's Kitchen Clone #7 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

While the Greer takes a long nap, this beauty is ready to pop & pour,
2nd bottle of the James Cole experiment, single Vineyard this time. I’m liking this over the blend by a couple points.

Nine Suns

Napa Valley Red Blend 2014

Head to head with Greer. I liked the Greer a tad better but it was 2011 vs 2014 for Nine Suns — 6 years ago

Space And Time Chateauneuf-Du-Pott Vineyard Red Blend 2015

Simply amazing! This bottle made the Greer and Bevan seem old world and herbal by comparison. Dark fruit, chocolate, and everything turned up to 11! — 7 years ago

Marston Family Vineyard

Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

2 hour decant. I really like Marston wines. This still was young but continued to evolve in glass. While there is beautiful fruit here, there's also a minerality to this wine that I really like (usually when I hear minerality used to describe a wine I avoid - but it's subtle here). Had this after Greer - a tough act to follow - but I thoroughly enjoyed this and am glad we have some more to try again soon. — 10 years ago

Tough for any wine to follow Greer. We had an 05 Marston last week- it was excellent!

Scarecrow

Anniversary wine!
But if you compare this to Greer?- I think there would be no difference except in the pricing!
