Did not expect to be drinking Scarecrow tonight - but hey, not complaining. Every element is in place - blue tones, graphite, silky plum. What a beautiful wine from what’s to be a classic vintage.

Did I say ridiculous wines? The '13 was quite different than the '14. More ripe dark berries with chocolate and caramel - all I could think was the candy "rolo". I preferred the '13 over the '14

+2 hour decant(some chunky sediment). A striking dark purplish magenta color. On the nose: dark fruit, dried herbs, forest floor, chocolate, anise. Taste: silky, opulent wine that maintains its elegance with blackberry/some dark cherry, currants, dark chocolate, earth, minerals, and a graphite espresso long finish. YUM! Drinking well with the decant and time to go.

Anniversary wine!
But if you compare this to Greer?- I think there would be no difference except in the pricing!
