The 2004 at 15-years of age is still youthful! Well balanced as always, just a wonderful blend, love the fruit with tea notes, oak is fully integrated in the wine pure silk! Held up well against Harlan, Scarecrow, Morlet, Hall, & Rudd Cabs. Just a. Lass act! — 2 years ago
Maybe the best wine of the vintage. Dark purple to the rim. Great balance with lots of velvety tannins. Dark fruit, blackberries and plums with a bit of white pepper on the finish. Awesome. — 2 years ago
Solid wine, and opened in the presence of a 14 Tusk, an 05 Scarecrow, 09 Oakville Winegrowers Cuvee, 88 Dunn, 07 Colgin IX, a 93 Harlan, and an 08 Pritchard Hill Chappellet. I'd say it was probably my 3rd favorite out of those (the 88 Dunn and 09 Oakville Winegrowers being the two Napa Cabs IMO that bested this one). You know you're doing right when a 12 Kapcsandy State Lane is third! This wine has it all going on. Smooth, still slightly youthful fruit sweetness present here. Luscious black fruit on the front and middle with a peppery finish. This wine seemed to be a very approachable drinker even for only six years old. I'd put it at 96 easily but would be interested to see how it would taste if corked and enjoyed tomorrow (service announcement: .it was gone rather fast!). Toasted tannin still present. Wine has incredible structure and depth. — 3 years ago
Extraordinary. I had the pleasured of touring Inglenook, and they didn’t disappoint. Their flagship Rubicon was amazing. Medium + Body with firm tannins and nice extracted fruit. And winery itself is somewhat legendary. And they are neighbors to this other winery called Scarecrow... No big deal. — 2 years ago
Even in the hedonistic Dionysian wine orgy that was @Eric LaMasters living room on a rainy Saturday in West Des Moines this T6 from @Shawn R shined bright and cut through the crowd. Very full bodied with velvety espresso covered purple fruit. Showing some tertiary flavors now—spice box, smoked meat with tasty herbs. Just so damn voluptuous. Drank side by side with Scarecrow at a quieter moment and it was a clear winner for me. TRB being TRB. — 2 years ago

This is a very, very, very young wine. Decanted for 5 hours. Big juicy wine. Could use a little more acid. This rating reflects this wine today in it’s immature state. It will drink and score much higher in 5 years. — 4 days ago
