Many double IPAs achieve their hop intensity at the cost of coating the drinkers mouth in furry bitter resin, kinda like eating a raw bud of weed. What makes this beer so incredible is it's ability to deliver an insane amount of hops and pithy citric bitterness with a super clean, precise and dry finish without any unpleasant, over extracted, resiny bitterness

As a previous note suggested, heady topper is one of the holy grails of American beers. In an odd way this beer reminds me of Shafer Hillside Select. The mouthfeel is so big and smooth with this third dimension that is difficult to describe. To me that is what sets it apart.

One of the recent beer holy grails. Little malty, creamier than I expected for an IPA, less "cut" if you will. Still, a very pleasant brew.

The hype is there for a reason! Super fresh, oily but not cloying! A bit crisp...
It makes me so hoppy I thin I may cry!
