Clos des Perrières Meursault 1er Cru Chardonnay 2016

Guess there’s some bottle variation. Much closer to bottles I’ve had in the past than the one the other night. — 17 days ago

L'Ancien Vieilles Vignes Nouveau Beaujolais Gamay

Really pretty. Medium minus body, cherry/raspberry, spice, earth, great acid. Great with roast chicken. — 3 months ago

Domaine des Terres Dorées (Jean-Paul Brun)

Moulin-à-Vent Gamay 2020

Dark garnet color. Aromas of earth, tobacco, dried dark cherries/raspberries, menthol, dried rose petals and violets. The palate is more dark fruit driven (black cherry/raspberry/plum) with hints of forest floor and minerals. Touch of Brett and oak on the long and tingly finish. Nicely structured with fine grained tannins. Crisp acidity and medium bodied. The tertiary notes take the lead. Gets better as it opens up. — 4 months ago
