Enjoyed it immensely with our grilled ribeye steak! Perfect pairing. The steak elevates the wine significantly. Dark fruit with fully integrated smooth tannins in this 10 year old wine. It has this green pea, olive note to it that I presume comes from the Carmenere that I personally don’t care for too much. Dark straw color. Aromas of ripe pear, lime, white flowers and fresh herbs. The palate features more tropical fruits, green apples, minerals and citrus. The long finish is a bit salty and smoky. Bracing acidity and crisp. Solid value. — 7 months ago

Visited this property in 2017. It’s not that far outside of Santiago. Maybe a 40-45 minute drive from town.

94+ with appropriate aging.

A wine that deserves more attention in the US but doesn’t likely because it is Chilean. I’ve traveled to every wine region of relevance to know there are many world regions that produce high quality wines. This one a Rothschild property.
