A Hall bottling I’ve not heard about before. Inaugural vintage is 2014. Predominately from Calistoga and Saint Helena (hence North End of the valley). 22 months 80% new French oak.
No detail notes, but this is beautifully balanced and elegant. Approachable but have the structure for 20-25 years cellaring.

2009 vintage. Aged very well. Well bodied, clean, fast end — 2 days ago
Marking the end of a somewhat accidental week of higher end (for us) Napa cabs... For me this is the best of the bunch, but Linh preferred the heitz Martha's slightly
Hard to believe this was a 05, no browning at the rim
Intense aromas of fresh and dried red cherry, cassis, blackberry. Intense savory notes of cigar smoke and dried leaf, dry earth, licorice
Palate is lifted but full bodied with medium + tannin and at least medium acid (definitely moreso than the heitz). Confirming the nose but juicier. Long finish of fruit
This was insanely fresh and I feel like it has 10 years until its peak. Blew us all away — 8 days ago
Rich velvety mouth feel, with a wonderful lingering finish of blackberry — 2 months ago
