Not your ordinary Gruner. I think it low in sulphites, unfiltered and has a rustic character. A bit oily in texture and with dominant aromas of hay, yellow stone fruits and dried herbs, you can notice some dill in it as well. For this natural style is very nice and interesting. — 9 days ago

Preisinger Reinberger, Rhein Riesling Wagramstölln 2018
First Austrian Riesling if I'm not mistaking and probably not the last as it's pretty good! Lemon and lemon zest along with white pepper and some flowery notes. This is a beautiful nose. The palate is dry but very well balanced : great acid, great width, a soft mouthfeel yet quite vibrant, some lemony touches all along, there is matter and it's quite complex. The finish is long, dry and fresh with lemon and lemon zest. Grezt effort and the balance of it makes it much better than most of the German Riesling I tasted recently — 7 days ago
A little sulphuric on the nose, rich & generous with cut apple and minerality. They need to sort out the papyrus font on the label but otherwise, Lovely m8 — 4 days ago
Nose has fresh sage, under-ripe pear, distant smoke, crushed flint, bruised lemongrass and ginger.
Palate has dehydrated lime, lime zest and candied ginger; being fully transparent this palate is incredibly integrated and difficult to identify the component parts...Wow possibly the best SB from Austria I can ever recall, distinct!
A pick-up from my lovely wife last year, she's got good sourcing and a great palate. ❤️ — 12 days ago
