Von Blumen ‘Flowers’ Pinot Bianco - Weissburgunder 2019: Medium-bodied. Medium acidity. Intense floral aromas. Full ripe flavors of white peach, apple, lemon & minerals and a dry lingering finish. For me, this wine evolved in the glass over time. It started off tight & tart however soften up and opened nicely. Overall, an interesting Northern Italian alpine wine discovery. I was pleasantly surprised. Cheers🍷 — 23 days ago

The 2021 Weissburgunder Pinot Bianco wafts up with herbs and lime zest before settling on crushed green apples and ginger. Soft-textured with a reverberation of citrus tension that nicely contrasts its inner sweetness. It leaves a subtle staining of minerals through the long and juicy finale. $15.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2022) — 2 months ago
Reminds me of something like Ecto Cooler or Hi-C, glowing orange stuff, strangled from the box and through a straw for every drop. Personality and expression and who cares if it's not particularly complex. Too many other reasons to enjoy.
Like leaping scents of exotic sour mango, salty peach, apricot, and sandalwood. A little bit of grip and texture and a whole lotta fun. — 8 days ago
Nose is creamy, opulent and ripe. Background of lean minerals. Nice breadth. Melon and cantelope. So pure. Palate is opulent and ripe with lovely texture and just the right amount of acidity. Very easygoing and delicious. Good concentration and exceptional purity and as it airs out it gets leaner and more acidic. 9.3 for now but can see this going higher. Love how lean and nervy this gets with air. So good. Lime zest and flesh now inflecting on the palate. Zippy, zesty and pure. With air this gains energy and salinity. Amazing intensity. — a month ago
Very unique! Toasted marshmallows, pineapple fruit, pleasant bitter finish. — 4 days ago

Lugle is high acid big boned Weissburgunder with freshness to suggest that keeping a couple around for a few years might be a good idea. Structured and clean, big in volume and intensely and all buttoned up. Sophisticated florals and the zippy versions of apples, pears, wheatgrass. Touch of oak I think, but not too much. Lovely stuff. — 8 days ago
