Pomegranate, bee pollen, red cherry, nice Indian spices, fruit stripe gum, red licorice, nice body. — 5 years ago
Light straw color, toasty graham, petrol- thought old world — 5 years ago
Love the Focchini. A raw wine but should develop nicely. Beautiful plum aromas and tons of minerality. Big tannins on the finish. — 7 years ago
Read like really high quality new world syrah. Interesting to taste next to the sulfured version which read more old world. — a year ago
Medium yellow gold. Bracing, orange fruited, orange blossom, hint of pithy grapefruit, snappy nasturtium/peppery undertone. I feel the new world weight and breadth on the palate compared to the next wine.... — a year ago
Holding up very nicely. Could probably use a bit of decanting to open up with next bottle. Bold rich flavor and lots of pepper on the back end. — a year ago
This has California written all over the nose, sweet sourdough bread yeast.
Some sharp berry lies down the walkway for some other cool fruits to come a Prancin’- Bing cherry, mulberry, mint, raspberry licorice, and a highly vibrant kumquat acid that really shocks and awes.
Can u dig it?
Yes I can.
