This has California written all over the nose, sweet sourdough bread yeast.
Some sharp berry lies down the walkway for some other cool fruits to come a Prancin’- Bing cherry, mulberry, mint, raspberry licorice, and a highly vibrant kumquat acid that really shocks and awes.
Can u dig it?
Yes I can.

Holding up very nicely. Could probably use a bit of decanting to open up with next bottle. Bold rich flavor and lots of pepper on the back end. — 2 years ago
Medium yellow gold. Bracing, orange fruited, orange blossom, hint of pithy grapefruit, snappy nasturtium/peppery undertone. I feel the new world weight and breadth on the palate compared to the next wine.... — 2 years ago
Light straw color, toasty graham, petrol- thought old world — 6 years ago
Love the Focchini. A raw wine but should develop nicely. Beautiful plum aromas and tons of minerality. Big tannins on the finish. — 8 years ago

Mixed feeling in this one. Attractive purple color and New world fruits and earth on the Syrah but a sense of unbalanced heat also. Good with the meats though. — 3 months ago
