I love the nose on this: very complex; rare beef, iodine, eucalyptus, dark florals, rich gravelly scents, dark, oozing blackberry underneath it all. Dark, almost sweet minerality in the mouth, iodine, a saline note. Soft, rich, and mouthfilling. Some tannic structure, but it’s soft, and decent acidity. Length too. Very singular.

Even with some aging, the original notes are well on script. The only difference is a bit more dusty tannins grit in the back end.

This has California written all over the nose, sweet sourdough bread yeast.

Some sharp berry lies down the walkway for some other cool fruits to come a Prancin’- Bing cherry, mulberry, mint, raspberry licorice, and a highly vibrant kumquat acid that really shocks and awes.
Can u dig it?
Yes I can.

-edit- After some open air, this really shows a vegetal tone, like a shishito pepper stalk..
