Villa Wolf

Wolf Blass

Grey Label McLaren Vale Shiraz 2018

Fruit forward, big cassis notes. Not the longest finish but this is definitely a good value quaffer. Having it chilled after a long exhausting day on Fraser Island adds to the allure. 🇦🇺 — a day ago

Hans-Bert Espe Und Silke Wolf Baden Spätburgunder 2020

A little slow to open up, but a good companion to Ina Garten panko crusted salmon. That distinctive note of rhubarb in a German Pinot Noir.

A little cloudy, pale red with a bit of purple and orange.

Pleasant example of German, Baden, Pinot.

Ernst Loosen Pfalz Pinot Gris 2021

Not sure if wood was used here, but the vanilla & broad mouthfeel suits it. Like a baby Chardonnay, w less angularity & at 13$ a QPR — 3 months ago

Lovely German red. Fruity, smooth and very moreish. Ruby in colour with lots of fruit, notably cherries, blackberries, and raspberries plus a hint of sweetness. A very good Dornfelder. — 10 months ago

Bürklin Estate Riesling 2020

Dry and very classic tasting Riesling. Wet stone, lime, honeysuckle, green apple, green pear, flint, and the faintest hint of petrol. Clean with high acidity, medium alcohol, light body and a terrific compliment to food. I had it with tuna tartare and it was a knockout. Terrific value. — 5 months ago
