Wolf & Woman Chenin Blanc
Youthful but open and very inviting aromas with ripe yellow apples, stone fruit, nectarines. A good portion of honey, blossom and bees wax that is followed by sweet spices and warm stones.
Dry with a high piercing acidity that is balanced by a framwork of round ripe fruit and honey blossom. Then acidity penetrates through a strong mid palate with plenty of stones in the background and holds through a solid (med + lenght finish). As so many of the wines that comes out from the South African wine revolution right now, it performs well above its modest penny. Serve it at 12 degrees in your Bourgogne glass.

I rarely get to enjoy properly aged Riesling. The little bit of rs is well integrated, dried lemon peel and some candied apricot are pretty. Acidity has mellowed, maybe a bit too much, there’s no electricity running through it. — 8 days ago
Our new bed and mattress arrived today which obviously has to be celebrated.
Typical B&W nose and classic lemony woody flavour. Love these wines as they are so harmonious and integrated. — 2 months ago
Found this easy to drink and decent. Enjoyable enough to buy again. — 2 months ago
