Rich dark fruit nose. The palate is less rich with tart cherry acidity. It was great with the beet salad we had with dinner then also great with the steak and mushrooms for the main course. Very interesting wine. — 4 months ago
Transparent ruby red. Cherry, oak. Spices. Plum, raspberry blackberry mushroom. Black currant. Mid+, 2 hours decanting would be minimum. Barbaresco Riserva Pora Produttori Del Barbaresco 15 @2450, wine plus- BBQ, 240606 — 3 months ago
Really loved this—been wanting to try this producer for some time. Bright, fresh, AND complex. Will look for this in coming vintages. 60th anniversary bottling. — 5 months ago
Wonderful minerality, herbs. Rosy color for an orange wine. — a month ago
Terre di San Leonardo is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (40%), and Carmenere (10%), run by the Gonzaga family since its inception in 1724. Wine is fermented with ambient yeasts in concrete tanks and 20% is aged in French oak barrels. Ruby with aromas ripe red fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of rich plum and blackberry with herb, light spice and slight earthy notes. Medium+ finish, fine soft tannins, ending with fruit, floral and earthy mineral character. Tremendous value! — 3 months ago

Deep yellow in color. Honey, beeswax, lanolin, with a touch of effervescence on open. No sharp edges. Not exactly my style wine but well made and can imagine this aging gracefully — 14 days ago
