Just had this a few months ago, commented that I wanted to see how it would age. Better hide the rest of that’s what I want. I sure is lovely right now. — 4 days ago
Pop and pour, late night on the porch by the water.
Typical dark and fleshly style with tannins that show this bottle can easily take 10+ more years in bottle. They are coming around and show that this is still better paired with a rich, meaty stew or grilled/roasted meat dish. — 11 days ago
220613 apto con vero. Vino joven suave. Acidez media-alta. Baja amargura al final. Deja recuerdo en el paladar en el punto — 24 days ago
A relatively young bodegas doubled as a 5-start hotel.
Exuberant nose of blackberry, plum, red currant, wood sources, anise and subtle game. The palate, while rich, is very youthful for a 11-year old bottle. Sharp acidity and quite formidable tannins. Probably needs another 8-10 years to completely settle down.

This really showcases how good a Toro can be. Restrained deep nose of plum, cassis, cedar, mocha, soybean, worn leather, and subtle smoked meat. The palate is rich and velvety, layered with lush ripe fruits, dark chocolate, and warm spices, all strung together by round yet vivid acidity. Silky tannins.
I think this will need another 5 years to reach its peak. Paid about €30 some years ago in Madrid. — 3 days ago
