Maranges Vieilles Vignes Pinot Noir 2017

Vines planted on steep marly limestone slopes. Medium Ruby with aromas of red fruits and mineral notes. On the palate flavors of raspberry and cherry with herb citrus notes. Full ripe tannins, medium+ finish, balanced acidity, good structure, ending with zesty wet stone and pepper spice character. Should age for next 5-7 years. Tried twice! — a month ago

Les Chevalières Meursault Chardonnay 2015

Very fresh and elegant. High mineralogy with white peach and a hint of banana (!!) to finish the palette. A solid wine to start a meal. — 3 months ago

Santenots Volnay 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2006

Really well done and balanced, slightly more extracted than is our style but nevertheless an excellent bottle. More virile and powerful and closer to a Pommard than to a feminine Volnay. — 5 months ago
