Parmigiano-rind umami on the nose, buoyed by aromas of lime oil and baked golden apple, with a delicate white floral perfume and an indulgent pastry cream note. Salted hazelnut skin and brisk saline sea spray invigorate the palate. Super-charged acidity and a lean but textural mouthfeel. — a month ago
Bought at a good wine retailer in Barcelona. Made from 100% Carignan grapes from 80 year old vines and vinified in concrete tanks - zero oak influence. I made no notes but I do remember enjoying it as a great food wine and highly savoury. Drank this last week in Spain. — a month ago

Red colour, strawberries, white pepper. Excellent when combined with pork, white meat, probably spicy food. Serve sufficiently chilled. — 2 months ago
Light aroma and body, grapefruit accents, pairs well with seafood. — 13 minutes ago
Digging this soft cherry Grenache with nice tannins — 4 days ago
Our last lunch in Priorat at a little restaurant in Falset, and no formal notes but keen to try again. Interestingly this winery was started by Dominik Huber and the irrepressible Eben Sadie of South African Syrah fame. This was a typical rich Priorat blend of mainly Grenache with Carignan. Full bodied and savoury with black fruits and plenty of liquorice — a month ago

I’ve never had a wine from the region of Catalonia near the border of Aragon! Would love to visit the area to see Antoni Gaudi’s architecture in person. This wine made my jawls pucker with the first sip but ended up being really light and refreshing on the palate. — 7 days ago
