Precise but generous. Stood up to charcuterie — a year ago
I have been feeling unwell for the past couple of days and it may or may not be covid 19 as I have been in contact with someone who tested positive. In this country tests are scarce and reserved for people with severe symptoms which i don't seem to have (even though I was in rather bad shape yesterday night). As a matter of testing myself I opened this bottle to check if my senses of taste and smell are still working. Until now they are.
Lemon, and other citrusy scents on the bitter side (Bergamot?) along with white flowers and a mineral thing. There is a petrol thing too in there. The palate is well designed with some strong acid backbone, a nice citrus fruit all along with that nice, subtle bitterness, à good width and some grip, some volume in mid palate and a long finish with the same citrusy, gently bitter notes. This is a very good food wine! We had mussels and fries with it, great pairing. — 3 years ago

Rich opulent vintage (it is Smaragd) but still a core of mouthwatering acidity. Good minerallity with dandelion, slight white pepper and radish. Stone and tree fruits of green and yellow apple, yellow plum and quince. — 2 years ago
Lime zest, crushed rock, minerality. — 4 years ago
From Cork $20 6/3/2022 on 6/4/2022. Supremely better than Riesling last night in Vingt sur Vingt. From Wachau - no Wonder! — a year ago
A smooth GV but with the typical upfront minerality — 3 years ago
