Juicy juicy juicy bedonk — 4 years ago
This is 100 percent Cabernet Franc that is grown at 820 feet and spent 12 months in French Oak. The nose shows; ripe blackberries, strawberries, dark cherries, vanilla, cinnamon, red florals, red licorice and soft loamy dry soils. Tannins are M+. Blackberries, dark cherries, cocoa powder, expresso, dark chocolate, poached strawberries, dark moist earth, a little leather and beautiful red & pink florals. This wine will stun some palates after 8-10 years in the bottle. — 5 years ago
Very nice and bubbly. 2018 — 2 years ago
When first pouring a slight violet tinge to the wine. full on the mouth and juicy. Smells of black cherry, black currant, slightly jammy. Also strong sage with cigar box/cedar and bacon fat. Like it. As to tastes, sour cherry, leather, black pepper and a touch of vanilla. Sourish notes being the dominant taste.
Good length and reasonable balance. Very enjoyable. — 3 years ago

Young and slightly closed up. Lots of smells such as light pepper/spice, blackberry, plum, bramble, cigar box, sweet pipe tobacco, black olive, cured meat etc. On the palate, still dense with black fruits, a touch of oakiness, pum and peppery spice. A full bodied wine with a good length length. Overall, whilst not yet developed, excellent. — 3 years ago
A bright wine that at open is a bit sweet and very drinkable, but it’s subtle complexity becomes more prominent over time. I’d say best to let it breathe for 10 minutes before enjoying. Extremely satisfying to drink between 2-4 people — 4 years ago
