Mid 20th century fashionable country resort, popular with Hollywood due to 1892 stone Manor House & historic gardens. Blend of 90% Cab Sauv, 5% Malbec, rest Petit Verdot. Dark Ruby, aromas of ripe berry fruits, herbs and cigar box spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and black currant with vanilla oak, tobacco and earthy notes. Well balanced, fine tannins long finish ending with fruit, espresso notes and sweet earthy spice! Nice now and will drink well over next decade. — 18 days ago

It’s a decent steak wine. Not aromatic at first, needed an hour or so. Still not enough but the oak notes began to come through. Some nice fruit, black cherry, bit of spice, enough structure to counter the salt. Was very smooth while eating. — 2 months ago
