Popped and poured; enjoyed after dinner. The 2003 pours a beautiful amber color with and transparent core; medium+ viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of honey, dried apricots, marmalade, marzipan, and candied nuts. On the palate, the wine is sweet with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose along with some tropical fruits: passion fruit and pineapple. The finish is long and decadent. Unctuous and a lovely way to capstone a meal. 1983 drunk in mid 2025. Showing age but still delicious. Honey and date flavors and aromas with a fair bit of acidity. Quite delicious. — a month ago

Vintage 2001 | This is such a treat, honeyed nectar, which I poured at a farewell of my colleagues, and even people who drink wine in a irregular base like this. — 12 hours ago
