Great Pinot noir. — 10 days ago
Medium ruby red in appearance. A bit savory on the nose with berries, spices, cocoa and a hint of earthiness. Well balanced palate with a medium body and medium tannins (5.5/10). Fresh red berries on the palate with some darker spices and bramble berries. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2029. — 7 days ago

First of a big batch of Testarossas from WB…fantastic Pinot, cherry is predominant, maybe the slightest bit too fruity? J smells smoke but I’m not really getting that. Maybe it’s my mood, but didn’t leave a ton to the imagination - though not a bomb at all. I’ve been spoiled w good Pinot lately so the bar is high — a month ago
18’ Miner Rosella’s Pinot . Color resembles a ruby/purple. Nose fresh picked strawberries, cranberry, brown sugar mist. Opened it over a week ago and threw the cork on it. Still a full -bodied beast of a Pinot. Strong cherry, red berry flavors to it, sassafras, slightly non-expressive finish. Can’t miss if you’re patient for another year or two. One of if not the best thing I’ve enjoyed from Miner. Cheers! Wait another 2/3 years / decanting for 2 hours +. — a month ago

Mineral- and spice-accented citrus and orchard fruit aromas are complemented by floral and tarragon suggestions in the 2019 Hahn Chardonnay SLH. Meyer lemon, pear and white peach flavors unfurl and take on a spicy ginger note with air. This finishes tight and long, with a touch of vanilla. $21.00 (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2022) — 19 days ago
