Estate Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir 2011

So a muted Pinot flavor. I want to say a hint of effervescence but that’s not really true. It’s the acidity showing itself a bit more than it has in other bottles or due the food we had (spicy)... It’s distracting me a bit from the other flavors. The nose is different. I don’t want to say smoke but something is different on this one. — a day ago

So insane! Killer value. Dead ringer for a high end northern Rhone. — a month ago

Santa Barbara County Chardonnay 2022

Wow this is a great example of Santa Barbara Chardonnay. Some wood in the nose next to moderate tones of tropical fruit. In the mouth it has a slight salty tone. Paired beautifully with 60 months old Parmezan cheese. — 21 days ago

Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir 2022

Delectable Wine
9.2

Medium in body, fresh and driven, the 2022 Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands) is pretty forward in its red-fruited profile, but it also possesses a core of stern, rocky minerality. An enticing air of highlands herbs and sweet lavender adds further intrigue. Juicy, sweet raspberry, clove and a kick of toasty French oak sweetness make the 2022 an inviting choice for drinking over the next several years. (Billy Norris, Vinous, August 2024)
