A nice light, easy drinking Malbec… great for the price! — 5 days ago
Smaken är generöst fruktig, fyllig och mjuk med lätt vaniljton och inslag av mörk choklad, jordgubbar och björnbär. En given succé till smakrik mat som exempelvis lamm eller nötkött — a day ago
Can’t beat it for the price. 2019. — 6 days ago
My first time trying this producer’s Zin. I opened this yesterday knowing that it likely needed more time but was too impatient to wait. Decanted for 2 hours and it still gave off heat from alcohol, but started to develop with time in the glass. Day 2 and this wine has improved significantly. This wine is jammy, but not overly. I think this wine will really shine with a couple more years in the bottle. Will wait to open the next one. — 14 days ago
Thank you Sons of Eden for sharing this sample bottle of your 2018 Romulus Old Vine Shiraz with us - we well and truly enjoyed every last drop 🙌
This beauty picked up a coveted Platinum Award (97 points) at the 2021 Decanter World Wine Awards 🏆 This is alongside many other awards including being in James Suckling’s Top 100 Wines of Australia 2021!
I can taste why!
It’s an opaque velvet red-black colour in the glass. It’s full of oomph on the nose with intricate yet vivacious notes of dark berry fruit, black pepper and leather. It’s heady, big and bold. In the mouth it follows suit with a super confident and sassy palate. It will cellar beautifully over the coming years, that’s for sure.

This 6 year old Carignan from Israel is drinking very nicely now. Tangy and interesting.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Showing red fruits with wood, earth, spices, tobacco, chocolates, coffee and peppercorn.
Dry on the palate with a soft mouthfeel, and a nice aromatic nose.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and cranberries.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after an hour of airtime.
I've had this vintage before, and this time did not decant it, but I gave it a light chill.
Paired nicely with the mushroom Brie cheese.
Kosher and not Mevushal.
13% alcohol by volume.
90 points.
