Very sweet, rn i like sweet wines. Best of both worlds with half sparkling half regular and it actually balances out very well — 2 months ago

Smooth and pleasant red fruit. Great $15 value. — a month ago
Had the privilege of being the first non Quinta Do Vale Meao persons to have a try of this wine. Probably one of the best Portuguese dry reds still with lots of ageing potential. Appreciated that they combine tradition and technology. Complex and elegant despite its youth. — 2 months ago
Big, bad, inky and rad! Good stuff — 19 days ago
Really enjoyed this wine. Had the 2020 reserva in November of 2023. Some currant and tobacco were there. Was fruity and acidic but the tannins on the end eliminated the acidity. Drinks surprisingly light for its color and bouquet. Paired with a Portuguese Madeira creamy chicken. Went really well with the cream and cheese. Would drink this one again in a heartbeat. — a month ago

1962 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and over the course of two hours. As with all of these older vintage port corks, a Durand is a helpful "suggestion" but a funnel with a fine filtering screen is essential. Wowzers. Plenty grippy on the back end and drinking as if awakened from a nap-guilty as charged. Needs another 15 years to “let it go.” Remarkable complexity. Holy bleep. Thanksgiving 11.23.23. — 14 days ago
