2020 vintage. Checked multiple (4) Trader Joe’s locations to see if there was any more of the verry solid 2019 vintage left anywhere. No luck. Took the plunge on the new vintage. Still worth the ca$hi$h. Lots of prettier fruits and medium body. Not as much structure as the 2019 but that dropoff was expected. Won’t drink as much of the 2020 as I did the 2019 but for $14.99, it’s still a relative bargain. Will hit again. 4.8.24. — 11 days ago

Blend of 50% Touriga Nacional, 35% Touriga Franca, 10% Tinta Roriz, 4% Tinta Barroca & 1% Alicante Bouschet, aged in used French oak for 14 months, aromas of fresh dark berry flavors with herb, spice and cedar notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry and plum with licorice, cedar, espresso and spicy herbs. Fine ripe tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, cedar, spice and herb character. Deep purple in color; blueberries, plums, and dried flowers on the nose; medium plus acidity; high tannins, so tannic it's chewy; tastes like raspberries, violets, crushed gravel, and wet slate with a long finish. Well balanced flavors. I love it. — 2 months ago
