Deep ruby, almost purple, hue with pink rim variation. Subtle color extraction on the glass. Nose offers fig jam, raspberry preserves, and blackberry bramble with sweet tobacco, oak, cedar, nutmeg, vanilla, roasted green bell pepper, oregano, and peat notes. Palate is dry and consistent with the nose. More noticeable oak on the palate and soft tannins. Love this Chilean Cab! Vintage 2015. ABV 14.5%.

Slightly more lively and energetic than the 2010 vintage offering aromas of ripe dark cherries, blackberries, plums, lavender, licorice, torrefact soil notes, incense, and sweet spices, and a decadent yet well integrated lactic note. A full bodied red with delicious dark fruit flavors on entry followed by a refreshing balsamic midpalate full of orange peel, licorice, and a cool chalky mineral note that continues on to the long lasting finish with chewy yet highly polished tannins.
