Astonishing find, single bottle from AA way back, powerful, subtle, complex, mouth-coating, yet lifted into long finish. Wow. From ‘30s vines and just missed 1cru due to slanted exposition. Stunner — 5 months ago
Nice burgundy. Pork chops. Maybe not fish. — 2 months ago
Smooth, silky, medium body, hint of oak, went well with oysters. — 4 months ago
Very Enjoyable!!! Mellow with apple/pear notes with hints of spice and vanilla. Just a touch of oak…. Paired very well with Salmon and also cheese and crackers. Will buy this again if we find it. — 2 years ago
Yellow with aromas of apple, pear, honeysuckle, and dandelions. A nice minerality with nice acidity and long finish. Great with our Lobster Mac and Cheese done on the smoker. — 3 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
All of the grapes from the vineyards owned by the Latour family are vinified and aged in the cuverie of Château Corton Grancey in Aloxe-Corton. The winery was the first purpose-built cuverie in France and remains the oldest still-functioning. Medium pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruits with a slight nutty floral character. On the palate flavors of peach and melon with lemon citrus and savory notes. Medium+ finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, toasty oak and minerality. Nice! — 11 days ago
