Marchesi Antinori ‘San Giovanni della Sala’ Orvieto Classico Superiore 2018: Medium-light bodied. Medium intense aromas. Lively acidity with a clean, fresh & fruity taste. Citrus, pear, white peach & subtle minerals on the palate. Long balanced finish. All in all, this was an excellent Grechetto white blend from the Umbria region of Italy and another Antinori winner with great QPR. Go find yourself a bottle & enjoy. You won’t regret it! Great day to all! Cheers🍷 — 21 days ago
Funky honeysuckle, then lemon and parmigiano. Cool medium + white. Dig if you like pecorino — 25 days ago
Mein erster Lagrain. Vollmundig aber wenig Struktur. Für meinen Geschmack zu viel Vanille. — 12 days ago
Slightly off dry. Good minerality. We all liked it. With Peter and Julie in Sorrento. — 24 days ago
The 2021 Weissburgunder Pinot Bianco wafts up with herbs and lime zest before settling on crushed green apples and ginger. Soft-textured with a reverberation of citrus tension that nicely contrasts its inner sweetness. It leaves a subtle staining of minerals through the long and juicy finale. $15.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2022) — 12 days ago

One of the finest white wines I’ve had the pleasure of tasting. I’ve been a long-time Cantina Terlan fan, and have always had a soft spot for their $20 Pinot Bianco… but this takes things to another level. Polished, slightly saline-citrusy acidity, with muted limestone, and focused white peach and lime. It’s hard to condense this into a few descriptors. If you’re a Batard-Montrachet or Corton-Charlemagne fan, but can do with a little less French oak influence, and a little Muscadet Sevre et Maine, then this could be your jam. Looking forward to my next Alto Adige visit. Eataly Dallas (thanks to Derrek). — 6 days ago
