Oak Ridge Winery

Old Soul Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Good fruity wine. Finish is solid. Legs that go on forever. Lodi grapes make damn good wine. What more can I say. Rated the 2016 before and this is almost as delicious. — a month ago

Old Soul

Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

One of my favorites! Not too dry, not too fruity. My go-to gift for "old" people on their birthdays! — a month ago

Head Wines

Old Vine Barossa Shiraz 2018

Black, purple fruits, subtly sweet and rich with fine tannin and baking spices, long long finish with velvety, gentle grip. Understated but very present and blink, the bottle is gone. — 8 days ago

Tremendous 2007! Still massive & juicy w/ great anise notes. A gift from my buddy (ash) yes ago & what a treat. I’m sure ash drank his by 2010...great to occasionally wait for these gems. — 7 days ago

Gotta love when you unexpectedly find an older vintage lying around. This shows beautiful herbal and conifer notes throughout. Lovely length and complexity. — 15 days ago

Arcturos Old Mission Peninsula Pinot Noir 2017

Cold climate Pinot similar to Finger Lakes. Quite fruity initially, settles into a more even experience with lots of air. October 2020. — 6 days ago

Wind Gap Wines

Sceales Vineyard Old Vine Grenache

Seventy-five plus year vines make me happy. Plenty of acidity balanced by lean, yet round, tannins. Savory raspberries and cherries with rhubarb and a little bay leaf. Yum! — 5 days ago

Bedrock Wine Co.

Old Vine Zinfandel

Received a shipment from Bedrock this week and dove right in. This Zin made from 80+ year old vines from multiple regions is outstanding, especially at $25. Accessible now, with an almost translucent pinot-like color, lots of dark fruit, and a mellow finish. Faded a bit in the glass. Putting a few away to enjoy again in a couple years. — 11 days ago
