Only the hint of lime and tropical fruits on the nose would lead to SB. Pear, gala apple, honeysuckle, and roasted almond. Rich palate but remains agile. Creamy texture. Great balance. Suggestion of sea breeze lead to a mineral driven long finish.
Not your typical SB, but very well made and elegant. 10% Semillon, raised in 100% French oak barrel for 8 months. No MALO. — 6 days ago
Unbelievably smooth- perfect pairing with the steak- definitely recommend - — 8 days ago
This was a good one! Buy again. Got it at Publix on sale. Even better after a few days in the fridge. — 3 days ago
Lots of flavor but not enough spice and pepper for a zin — 8 days ago
This is a very tasty Bordeaux blend from Lodi. Showing nice complexity, but a little unbalanced.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and very fruity (and some RS), on the palate with blackberries, black currants, eucalyptus, black plums, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, Mediterranean spices, espresso, cola, light herbs and black pepper.
Tangy finish with soft tannins and tangy cherries.
This 5 year old is big, bold and extracted. A little much, but very enjoyable.
This is an Orin Swift look alike, from the bottle look, to the wine style.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes of airtime.
Thank you Wendy for sharing this with me.
Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years, and see if it calms down a bit.
A blend of 50% Cabernet Franc, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon ,5% Malbec, 5% Petit Verdot and 5% Merlot. Aged in French oak barrels (33% new).
14.5% alcohol by volume.
