One of my fave 00 Bdx wines. Presents perfectly with bright cherries and saddle leather on the nose, followed by graphite and black fruits on the mid palate. This will sail on for years since the tannins and acidity are still very prominent. Unbeatable 2nd wine from Las Cases. — 22 days ago
Aired 1hr in bottle; still needed a little time to open up in the glass, but lovely red fruit and light, silky texture. Built to last and glad I have more. — 2 months ago
It takes about an hour and 45 minutes to decant. Don’t pull and pop! We pulled the 2017 and felt it could use 3 more years. Dog feels it’s a little light and time will improve. Overall decent. — 19 days ago
Château Léoville Las Cases ‘La Petite Marquise’ Saint-Julien 2018: Medium-full bodied. Medium-high acidity. Noticeable tannins that mellowed out over time. Deep purple in color. Tasting notes of blackberry, plum, strawberry, cedar & oak. Smooth warm finish. All in all, a rich & delicious Saint-Julien wine however very worthy of additional years of cellaring. Be well wine friends! Cheers 🇫🇷🍷 — 19 days ago

Tasting Group 4/3/22 My 2nd, Group 6th. Cherris and plums. Nice wood. Slight sprite. Seems younger than others in the tasting. Evident oak. Mouthful, nice grip. — 4 months ago
Even better than the last bottle, though I slouched and drank it with cheese/crackers/fruit and on day two with grilled chicken, bulghur pilaf, stewed yellow squash and tomato/cucumber/feta/parsley salad.
Serious, savory, stony, sapid, vibrant, lively and delicious. A great value for what I paid, under $50 US, less of a good value from wine searcher at around $400 these days. #CellarYourOwn — 23 days ago

Very dry, orange peel, great example of Aligote at its most complex. — 7 days ago
