light, crisp - good when chilled.
Nothing too crazy, easy apero wine — 5 days ago

Deep nose of blackberry flower, black cherries, violets. Pungent and vivid and so deep. Some earthy notes as well. Palate is deep, rich and fresh with black cherry fruit and ripe but substantial tannins. Great inner mouth aromas and deep, dark fruit buffered by minerality and freshness. Very long finish. Powerful and dense. 18 is a great vintage that will need time but it’s slowly starting to unravel. — 8 days ago
Winebow 100% Pinot noir NV excellent body 63.99 Grand Siecle 136 ( 45 Pinot 55 Chardonnay) 1 point higher than dom perignon 3 great old vintages blended together blend iteration # 25 is probably the best ever 2008, 2007, 2006 excellent for cellaring 10-15 more years this one needs more time in bottle — 25 days ago
Quite austere, maybe a few years past its prime, nose redolent of Grenache, but palate very restrained, reminiscent of faded fruit. Quite tannic actually. J says you can really sense the “vielles vignes”. Very good but would love to try something newer, maybe a 2015 — 7 days ago
Now is the time. Think of this as a Shooting star…. — a month ago
My first vintage champagne. It’s really good, but a bit fruity for me. Lots of green apple, lemon curd, some nice minerality. I still prefer a drier style. — 2 months ago

Dank, deep rose with classic Austrian red - blaufrankisch, st. Laurent, Zweigelt - notes. Plenty to mull over and also heavy enough for roasted/grilled meats. — 10 hours ago
