12 yr old rioja blanco. Beautiful golden color. Banana nose. Almost chemical. Blew off after about 30 mins and the acidity took flight. A special wine, but I think we were too aggressive out of gates to taste its peak. — 5 months ago

Medium garnet core , quite narrow terracotta rim . Spiced earthy summer fruits, blackberry , cherry , blackcurrant , some herbal hints , vanilla , tobacco, grafite and iodine. On the palate this is quite fine boned , with refreshing acidity and medium ripe , rounded tannins , balanced alcohol . More herbal and dark fruited on the palate , blackcurrant , blackberry and cherry , spiced vanilla tinged dark cherry . Tobacco and grafite tinged medium length finish . Still drinking well , this is at peak now so drink over the next 2-3 years . — 4 months ago
