Berries , raisins / amazing. Mark and Karen — a month ago
A bit much for me.
Nose borders on tropical. Very rich.
Palate is rich and dense. Some echoes of wood. Opulent. Any minerality is in the background.
Not my style but an excellent example of what it is.

@Delectable Wine oddly enough this is a Blanc de Cinsault, one of the silver linings of 2020.
When the fires hit early in harvest 2020, Will and Karen hedged their bets by pressing some of the 100+ year old vine Cinsault from the legendary Bechtold Vineyard immediately, and the result is a joy: pear, pomello, white grapefruit, some pith and white pepper on the finish. Fragrant and light.
In good news, the regular Cinsault from the vintage also turned out beautifully and isn’t showing a trace of smoke taint—or at least when I tried it a few months back. — 2 months ago
Excellent Brunello. At Helen Birmingham. — 7 days ago
Winery started in 1999 by Dr John and Karen Bergstrom. Medium Ruby with ripe berry fruit flavors, some tea, floral and spice notes. On the palate, cherry, cranberry and raspberry flavors with herb and citrus notes. Fine grainy tannins on medium+ finish ending with slight bitter saline character. Now! — 10 days ago
Always one of the best 1er crus in Volnay Boussey does wonders with this site. Bright and in your face nose of black and red cherries and a wallop of limestone intensity. Just stunning. Super floral and so broad but precise. This has serious aromatic breadth. Wow the palate is a laser with sweet, elegant fruit and stunning purity. Deep and sweet with such grace and refinement. Delicious and so long. This is ridiculous. Wow. More notes as it opens up. — 3 months ago
