Delicious berry (black and straw), tannins in the finish. Surprisingly robust for a light red — 3 months ago
Vintage 2010 | tuilé rim, mesmerizing deep smell, with vanilla, leather, red cherrie, smell is deep and rich, slowly developing tertiary tones. Very supple taste, no tannins what so ever. Good balance. Paired with a steak and morilles, flambéed with cognac. — 3 months ago
The 2022 Viognier K Art Den Hoed is spicy in the glass, wafting up with exotic florals, lime and young peach. It’s nearly glycerol in feel, with saline minerals and zesty acidity to balance. Sour citrus offsets ripe pit fruits. This tapers off spicy with medium-length and dried apricot notes. $20.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, August 2023) — a month ago
PnP. Dark red color with purple hues. Cranberries and oranges dominate the nose with some boysen/logan berry. Rather light wine that fades quickly. Tart with citrus elements which is strange for a Syrah. Unique wine but not what I was hoping for after reading good things about K. — 2 months ago
Seriously, except for the plots where Rayas and Fonsallette are made, is there any better place on earth for Grenache than Walla Walla? (I know Priorat might want to enter the chat). This is sooooo good. Pure, sappy kirsch run through campfire embers and dusted with sweet spices. So savory and clingy in the mouth. Length for days. Tons of smoky minerals. Love this. — 21 days ago
Very good winemaker. Blackberries and dark fruit. — a month ago
Gushing blue and black fruits, full body needs about an hour to express. Dense backbone — 3 months ago

After the lees waft away (give it 10-15 minutes after corking) it smells like a steak au poivre cooked rare.
Bracing acidity and when you expect tannins to set in you get a Black pepper finish.
Does it make sense if I say that it's a gamay made in the style of a southern Rhone Grenache?
Very nuanced Beaujolais — 20 days ago
