All good, except fertilizer.

Migan Vinos Atlánticos Listan Negro 2019

The most volcanic wine I’ve had. All the graphite and stone. Is sweet mushroom a thing? A little hollow in mid palette, with a pretty perfume wood finish. — 4 months ago

Vara Y Pulgar Tintilla 2015

Super mineral driven, jammy, dark red fruit. The 2015 feels right in the pocket. Fine tannins, long finish, elegant. Lovely. — 10 hours ago

Love this wine. Tintillo is the same as Graciano. Or as the Spaniards call it, “Gracias, no.”

Táganan Vinos Atlánticos White Blend 2021

I loved this wine, but it’s not for the meek. This wine is very different. It is complex with a large number of flavors. The palette opens with an oxidized Jura-wine flavor from the Malvasia, then moves to a tangy citrus, and finishes with an intense salinity. A symphony of flavors but a wine for wine geeks, and likely not going to be a hit to those who have only tasted far less intense wines. Perfect for fish, especially Lavraki. — 4 months ago

Lagar de Robla Premium Bierzo Mencía 2012

Medium ruby color with a slight orange rim. Aromas and flavors of red cherry and plums with distinct hints of baking spices, minerals and smoke. Good balance and structure. Nicely integrated tannins with medium body and acidity. Juicy and soft. Thank you for sharing, Ron B! — 5 months ago
