Light Ruby, about 1/3 whole clusters were used and aged in French oak, 65% neutral and 35% new. Aromas of berry fruits with floral spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry, light in style, with notes of tea, well balanced with acidity. Soft velvety tannins, medium length, ending with an earthy mineral tang. Very nice! Dried apricot, peach, jasmine. Smooth, medium weight, a touch of waxy, peach juice. Limestone. Medium acid. Solid, but not stellar. — 6 months ago
Hi ratings for having a dry cork (that crumbled!) but the wine is still huge. Wonderful body & chewy, cherry/anise w/ terrific balance.
Really happy w/ how this wine has aged! — 7 months ago
Yum! Thick berry flavor with that cranberry tongue finish. You can lightly taste the woody oak barrel. You will enjoy this! — 3 years ago
