Jaffurs Wine Cellars was founded by Craig Jaffurs, known for Rhone blends, 1994 was first release, in 2016 he turned the business over to Dan and Janelle Green & continues to support the winery. 100% Grenache Blanc, aged 50% in stainless steel & 50% in neutral French oak barrels for 6 months on its lees. Aromas of pure fruit on the nose, fresh & clean. On the palate peach & tropical fruit flavors with notes of honey & vanilla spice, crisp. Medium length, savory, nice balance ending with bright mineral character. Nice! Tasting Sample! — 4 years ago
Shooter Syrah. Real similar to the Bien Nacido. Jaffurs style unmistakable. — 6 years ago
Light Ruby, about 1/3 whole clusters were used and aged in French oak, 65% neutral and 35% new. Aromas of berry fruits with floral spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry, light in style, with notes of tea, well balanced with acidity. Soft velvety tannins, medium length, ending with an earthy mineral tang. Very nice! Yum! Thick berry flavor with that cranberry tongue finish. You can lightly taste the woody oak barrel. You will enjoy this! — 4 years ago
Jaffurs Wine Cellars was founded by Craig Jaffurs, known for his Rhone blends, and released his first commercial wine in 1994. Craig turned the business over to Dan and Janelle Green in 2016. About 40% of the wine was aged for 6 months in neutral oak and the rest in stainless steel, which keeps the wine fresh. Aromas of tropical fruits and elegant floral notes. On the palate layered flavors of peach, apricot and honey with refreshing acid balance. Nice mouthfeel, medium length, ending with refreshing fruit. Very nice! Tasting Sample! — 4 years ago

Dry cork & a little lean. Tried to aerate, but still not as chewy as previous 07’s. Still didn’t suck 😃 — 17 days ago
