Julien’s pop up at Mallow. Beautiful aromatic nose. Cloudy purple. Ripe fruits. Subtle finesse. Long finish.
[Winemaker’s notes:] “Bright red in appearance. Ripe fruit aromas with a tinge of raisins. Rather beguiling. On the palate it delivers spades of vibrant fresh fruit. Very lively. Although it is still rather understated right now, it already displays good acidity and a charming airiness, which means you can enjoy it right away too. The wine expresses the contrasting weather between August and September.”

Often times sparkling sake is associated to low quality spritzers readily available at cheap take out restaurants. This one suggested by the somme at Spago was a little creamy, a little sweet, effervescent, perfect pairing with the delicate sashimi — 8 days ago
Beautiful texture that is at once rich and rounded and yet light and fresh. Fruit driven entry with subtle umami tones in the finish. A true pleasure. — 9 days ago
