Brought by a friend for our dinner at Dia Deka. Decanted at the table and served about an hour after opening. Dark purple with scarlet purple rims. Totally opaque, dense like Guinness. Fruit forward nose. Notes of black fruit, mocha, earthy spices, blueberries, cedar wood, some smoke and some vanilla. Rich and dense in the mouth. Well balanced. Still a baby. Powerful stuff — a year ago
Nothing short of sublime. Sadly, this is the last magnum we have. Sensational with the Guinness lamb stew. — 4 years ago
Maan Saab, feels this wine is easy to drink, smooth and mild like having a chill pint of Guinness. Well I guess Maan Saab can't get over with Guinness for sure. It smells fruity, definitely feels wet and reminds Maan Saab of having 7Eleven's slurpee on a hot sunny day. Maan Saab has decided this will be his go to white wine for days and years to come. — 9 months ago
This excellent Chardonnay is made with organic grapes and aged in stainless steel barrels. — 2 years ago
I don’t normally do this but I’m Irish and I know this is right to share. Half a pint of Guinness with a half pint with this awesome beer. My Mom, my friends…think this the best drink I ever made them. It’s a must try! — 9 months ago
Dynamite with Guinness lamb stew. Aged in bourbon barrels, what a concept. Still youthful. Will be fun to see how it ages. — 2 years ago
