Fall Creek Vineyards Grenache Rosé 2020, Texas
Happy National Rosé day!
Very light salmon in color, almost see-through.
Pretty strong fruity nose with yellow apples, peaches, citrus and spices.
Medium plus in body, buttery and smooth, with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with citrus, lemons, green apples, grapefruits, spices and white pepper.
Tangy finish with limes.
This is a really nice Rosé from Texas. Easy drinking and nicely balanced, with a nice mouthfeel.
A great wine to have all by itself or by the pool. Not bitter, which I really liked.
I paired it with cheeses and crackers.
100% Grenache grapes are grown on clay and limestone soils.
13% alcohol by volume.

Laser focused - very well made and built for the long haul. This bright ruby red and translucent Grenache took 1-2 days to open up from its reductive slumber. Given grenache’s propensity to oxidation - one can tell the fruit and wine were handled with care. 15% whole cluster. Seek this team out @grosgrain — 11 days ago
Nicely balanced, with stone fruit and vanilla flavors. A refreshing summer white — 13 days ago
Pop and pour yesterday. I don't always drink grenache, but when I do...Yum. This is fantastically pure and solid grenache. Raspberry incense, wild strawberry coulis. Lovely acidity, good density, and a bright, tangy finish, with attenuated tannin. At peak, and excellent. — 18 hours ago
I LOVE Alban wines. This is my first experience with their single vine Grenache. Wow was i impressed. Deep purple hew. Rich and luscious. Popping red fruit with a massive nose. I did open this earlier than i would normally, so the acidity level was high. Mouthfeel was full and left a 40 second finish. A few years in bottle this could easily get to 98-99 pts. — 14 days ago
Color of light egg white, bubbly with a hint of green. Nose of nice ripe tropical fruits, like pineapple and banana, a bit spicy and acidic , a touch of mineral. Nose is nice. Taste is a nice balance of acidity, mineral, and tiny bit of sweetness, a bit more green apple, and a bit flowering note. Clean and enjoyable. Aftertaste is quite long with addition of zest, and warmth at the throat. Good summer blanc. — 19 days ago
Pretty, light salmon color. My nose picks up strawberry, grapefruit, and melon. Very light taste that rounds to a nice delicate but fast finish. Sipping while I read, but this would be excellent with shrimp or fish. Probably my third fave rosé in this price range, after Miraval and Gerard Bertrand. — 32 minutes ago
Blend of 70% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre, 14% Syrah and 1% Cinsault, aged in both new and used oak, Deep Ruby with purple edges and aromas of dark berry fruits and herb pepper spice. On the palate cherry and blackberry with some spice on fine tannins. Full-bodied with nice mouthfeel on a long finish ending with herby forest floor character. Tasted twice, nice! — 15 days ago
