Marc Fosh Guest Chef Dinner: Night 1 — a day ago
Pale salmon color; strawberries, watermelon, and orange peel on the nose; medium acidity; tastes like pink grapefruit, crushed gravel, and raspberries with a long fruity finish. Nellie likes it and I do too. — 14 days ago
NOSE: coconut cream, custard, nilla wafers, grilled pineapple, a little mango. Smells like typical aged Suduiraut!
TASTE: the vanilla cookie is strong with this one - plus tres leches. 93.
Sauternes is one of my preferred pairings with pumpkin pie and whipped cream. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! — 10 days ago
This California, non-region specific, red blend knocked my socks off when someone ordered a bottle at dinner. I’d never have chosen it myself, but am glad I tried it. Beautiful nose, tannins and finish. And at $35.99 at our local wine store, it’s a steal! — 5 days ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several hours. The 2021 "Amador County" pours a slightly hazy, pale straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose the wine is developing with notes of lemons, chamomile, lanolin, lime blossom, and ferrous minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium++ acid. Confirming the notes on the nose. The finish is long and loaded with minerals. Balanced and ever so fresh. This was a killer accompaniment with our Friendsgiving lunch in the office and worked well with turkey. Drinking now through 2031. Only two 500L puncheons produced. — 12 days ago
