This is a very dark wine, almost no light gets through a glassful of it. On the nose there is a complex set of aromas. Dark fruit - blackberry, cassis, blueberry - are met with savory support from the oak. Clove, baseball glove, tobacco, earth and black pepper all play a role in the sniff. The palate is a real discovery - as dark as you like it, with firm tannins and a long finish. In California terms, the shadings are a little more like Paso than Napa - a bit rambunctious and chalky as opposed to silky and demure. In fact, the wine could have convinced me that it was a Syrah, not a Cab, had I been blind tasting it. It’s a wonderful wine that screams for a big, beautiful steak to go with it. — 4 months ago
Well structured organic Chardonnay. Not an oak bomb… despite some reviews. Perhaps this was a better year :-) — 7 months ago
This wine is medium dark in the glass. It has a nose which puts ripe fruit up front, with cherry, raspberry and red currant dominating. Some spice rack is present, but oaky notes are not overwhelming here. Earthiness comes on in a co-starring role, however. Red fruit is the leader on the palate, too. There is a bit more oak influence in the flavor profile, but not to a great degree. Earth and mineral notes support the fresh, fruity aspect of the wine. Tannins are medium firm and the wine is very tasty and drinkable. — 4 months ago

The 2021 Yarden Chardonnay has a lemony nose with orange peel and pear notes, and minerality that beats out butter. It smells almost unoaked. On the palate, the citrus is out front again, with an even stronger lean into the minerals. Acidity is fresh and zesty. Oak is not a problem in this very enjoyable wine. — 4 months ago

This Israeli Sauvignon Blanc is nicely balanced and enjoyable by itself. Easy drinking, tangy and a little bit spicy. Fresh and fruit forward.
I've had a few vintages of this Sauvignon Blanc before, and it is very consistent.
A great party wine, and good for the pool too.
