Niersteiner Paterberg Kabinett Riesling 2018

Who would have thought I like a sweet white wine....not me. But I did! Described as semi-dry. Had very much a sweet edge. But than it turned smoky, earthy, minerally. Evolving depth and complexity. Awesome! — 2 months ago

Johann Georg Single Vineyard Old Vine Shiraz 2018

This is the real deal. A true Shiraz from the Barossa. Bond and strong, yet subtle and velvet. Very complex with great cellaring potential. — 3 months ago

Berg Schlossberg Riesling 2015

Mid Lemon in colour. Peaches, florals and a dried pear character with pronounced minerality. A dry palate (11.5% ABV) - somewhat lean. That minerality showing through and representative of the site. Finishes with pronounced acidity guaranteeing a long life ahead. Riesling specialist Stuart Pigott gave this 97 points - 4000 bottles made. Have the next bottle in around 4 years on its 10th birthday when it will have filled out on the palate with diminished acidity. From the Rheingau. — 6 months ago
