Massive jammy nose with lots of stewed prunes. Palate is much more restrained and complex. Silky mouthfeel. Still a big wine but a good lick of savoury spice. There is just enough acid and tannin to keep the beast in check. — 7 months ago
This is a beast of a Coudelet, find it and buy it! — 3 years ago
18’ Miner Rosella’s Pinot . Color resembles a ruby/purple. Nose fresh picked strawberries, cranberry, brown sugar mist. Opened it over a week ago and threw the cork on it. Still a full -bodied beast of a Pinot. Strong cherry, red berry flavors to it, sassafras, slightly non-expressive finish. Can’t miss if you’re patient for another year or two. One of if not the best thing I’ve enjoyed from Miner. Cheers! Wait another 2/3 years / decanting for 2 hours +. — 2 months ago
First time to have an Ente... I pray it is not my last. Best Wine from Burgundy I’ve ever had. Ente is worth all of the hype. This wine is the definition of elegance. The scent of mushrooms, mint, freshly tanned leather sent chills down my spine. Wild strawberries, raspberries, wet forest floor. This is one of those wines I’d be contempt with having the rest of life. Volnay meets Vosne. beauty and the beast. Wow.... — 3 years ago
Raspberry, fig and baking spices on the nose. Tastes like tart cherry and white pepper with an oak finish — 6 months ago
Young and dense. Held its own. Old vine, dry farmed carignan from slate soils in Priorat. 13.5 % which in near unheard of. Beast needs to settle — 3 years ago
Revisiting this burly beast almost a year later and it’s still as it was before: terrific. Impenetrable dark crimson with a little more bricking going on. Vanilla, lavender, a good bit of oak, and blueberries on the nose. At almost eleven years old, this doesn’t remind me so much of a standard Napa Can but rather a nice Bordeaux. The heat from the alcohol has definitely settled down and is presenting some wonderful balance. There’s still some fruit here with layers of blueberries, cherries, and cranberries. Tobacco, coffee, and leather on the palate. This is a wine that’s absolutely singing right now. All hail to Last Bottle. Just like I said a year ago, powerful, ripe fruit, and great structure. — 3 years ago

Dried plum, dark chocolate; eucalyptus, soy sauce, black licorice, and stewed blackberry. More nonfruit than fruit on the nose. Acidity adds plenty of youthfulness. Black olive and dark cherry fruit. Supple on the mouth. Well made. Delicious. Drinking well now. — 19 days ago
