v10. Very nice wine. Soft candied cherry and smoked meat nose. Bold, rich, blackberry, plum and a hint of tar fruit. Smooth, soft, slightly tart , chocolate finish. Nicely balanced — 2 years ago
It is a beast of a wine and yet it is approachable. Tannic but sweet tannins, full bodied, black fruits, mineral with a super long finish. The leather, gamey, Forrest floor undercurrent is starting to develop but will need another 5 years. A hedonistic bomb. Will give you pleasure for another 10 to 15 years easy. — 3 years ago
Still young but finally taking on some tertiary character. A little simple to start but then after an hour it gained in weight and all the cool exotic spice comes out. I had this wine in 2008 when it was a baby, full of new oak and fresh blue fruits. Now she’s a different beast and still amazing. — 9 months ago
Wha wha weeee waaah. Teleportation straight back to burgundy - escargot under the clock tower, lunch on a bike ride of the country. Beast. Doesn’t get much better. — 2 years ago
Maal Bestial Malbec 2016: Full-bodied. Medium tannins. Big & bold fruit flavors. Plum, blackberry, black cherry, tobacco & spice, ending with a long smooth finish. A tremendous “beast” of a Malbec and the perfect pairing with Perry’s Famous Pork Chop dish! Cheers🍷 — 2 years ago

New vintage in, and I love it. At $16 this is probably the greatest value CA Pinot. Layers of cherry and red fruit. Good acidity. Balanced. — 3 months ago
