I rarely post beer because I have a separate app for that. However, I will make exceptions for lambic. To my palate, Drie Fonteinen is amongst the last great Lambic breweries and Geuze blenders. I was very fortunate to travel to the brewery last summer and it was like a pilgrimage of sorts. Unfortunately, I never got their while Armand was still alive. That being said, his spirit of very much there. This oude gueze is Blend No. 37 • season 18|19 originating from 2016, 2017 and 2018 Lindemans wort. It was poured from a 375mL at just below room temp. A nice little pop from the cork. Light effervescence. Apricots, grapefruit, lemons, horse blanket. Good acid. Long finish. Refreshing. World class. — 3 months ago
