Great OR Pinot, deep, dark nice finish. — 8 months ago
The 2021 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is potent, dark and pretty big for an appellation-level wine. I would give the 2021 a good bit of air, as the stem character is quite overpowering at first. Dark fruit, sage, lavender, cloves and mocha come into focus over time. The 2021 offers tons of punch and character, but it also require a bit more care than readers are likely to expect of a wine at this level. At the same time, readers who want to explore the range of 2021 Pinots at Failla will find plenty of the power that runs through all the wines in the Sonoma Coast bottling.
