Museum Reserve The Contours Riesling 2008

I love aged riesling so much 🥰 This was still very peachy. Very dry. Petrol starting to poke through. Apricots too. — 3 days ago

Esprit Barossa Valley Red Rhone Blend 2004

Stunner - just dense & inky, brooding effusive nose of a berry compote, rich ripe saturated with pervasive spine of minerality, Herbes de Provence. Just jaw dropping. So soft & plush on palate, like sinking into an old Cadillac, crushed velvet, gobs of dark fruit, sweet baking spices, pepper and extraordinary length on finish. Tasted w/vintner prior to release (knew it would be epic) - drank & sold a lot of this. In the zone now w/many years ahead — 12 days ago

@ESF Great patience for such a delicious wine from the get go.

Clarry's GSM Barossa Valley Grenache Blend 2015

2018 vintage. 51 Grenache 43 Shiraz 6 Mataro. Definitely showing a lot of Grenache's tanginess. Stewed strawberry, tart cherry, red currant, plum, white pepper, fuzzy sage. — 17 days ago

Coach House Block Single Vineyard Seppeltsfield Road Greenock Shiraz 2015

Rich, with a very jammy edge. Lacking some backbone and started to become flat after two hours. Still an experience. — 18 days ago

Individual Vineyard Selection Eden Valley Dry Riesling 2005

Very interesting but it fades fast, maybe because of the age of the vintage. Cantaloupe and honeydew on the nose. Passion fruit, dragon fruit, honeysuckle and a lemon finish. — 4 days ago

John Duval Wines

Entity Barossa Valley Shiraz 2014

Aged nicely - in a good place. Dark plummy slightly sweet fruit balanced with some briny olives. I’ll drink pretty much anything John Duval makes. — 3 days ago

Bin 150 Marananga Barossa Valley Shiraz 2008

A rich dark crimson in colour. A smoky creosote mocha aroma - plenty of charred oak. Sweet black fruits on the full bodied palate with blackberry and black cherry. A very Penfolds Barossa red. 2008 is the first vintage Penfolds made of the Bin 150. Marananga being a sub district of the Barossa and a noted source of old vine fruit. Typically, this is a pup, at 13 years of age and will cruise to 2030 and probably beyond. — 21 days ago

When I see the name Marananga, all I think of is "Brass Band"! 😁

Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz 2016

Wine includes fruit from Barossa, McLaren Vale, Padthaway, Adelaide and Wrattonbully vineyards. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits with earthy spice. On the palate ripe blackberry, plum and dried cherry flavors with cacao, espresso and black pepper. Fine ripe tannins, well balanced with acidity, long finish ending with fruit and spice, very nice! Drinking well now! — 10 days ago

Hill of Grace Vineyard Shiraz 2010

Spectacular effort. The wine meets you from the glass, confit cooked fruit with exotic spice, first impression is jam and not wine. Medium bodied with long burn. Is this the best Australian wine ? — a month ago
