Found this at Blue Ribbon Wine Bar on Downing. Finally found it online and just had a case delivered. Funkiest orange wine I’ve tried. Beer on the nose. — 9 years ago
Very sweet - almost as sweet as a dessert wine. Dangerous since you can end up downing it. Best complemented by sour food or salty fish. #casamia — 9 years ago
I wasn't going to rate this wine at first, but after downing a six pack after a couple weeks I figured something is working here. It's definitely not your bread and butter pinot, and if you're a classic pinotvitorian, this wine probably isn't for you. But I'm just digging these crazy notes of root beer, caramel, oak, bright cherry, with almonds lurking in the background. Great body to this wine, well balanced with just a hint of pepper on a lingering finish. It's rich, voluptuous, and satisfying. As a club member I'm paying $28 a bottle and that feels like a deal. Good chance I'll be doubling down again soon. — 10 years ago

Suuuuuuuper dark amber, like someone hasn’t had water the morning after downing three bottles. Big bite, lots of apricot, citrus on the nose. Wish I had more like it! — 6 years ago
Quite good but the reserve shiraz was a stunner. — 8 years ago
Like a chain smoker could open the next bottle while downing the last sip of current bottle. Nice surprise when you take first sip — 9 years ago
Wow, this is a great wine! And I've learned that the independent/small grower/non-industrial winemaking community in Chile is probably 20x (or 50x) larger than I thought. And as far as I can tell they are all making interesting stuff. This producer makes an amazing $14 Cinsault in Itata valley, which I had never heard of before, but the sommelier I bought this from (@vinomio in Santiago, Chile) said it was a real backwater until recently. This is a vibrant, fresh wine with a nice bouquet and burgundy-like color in the glass. It's so pleasant to drink that I can't resist downing the whole bottle (unfortunately). It has 12.8% alcohol and doesn't even have a bar code, which I think gives an indication of their production values. From Vinomio in Santiago. — 10 years ago
Light and sweet like a moscato should be. Can't beat $5 either. Yum. Downing this bottle with a box of equally priced chocolates. Rex you delicious bastard. — 10 years ago
Near perfect Zinfandel. — 11 years ago
Bouquet of roses!! Super floral without it being like you’re downing parfum. Super easy to drink, light, with some watermelon notes too. — 6 years ago
Merlot at the 22and downing shop — 6 years ago
No vintage date but this mag is likely from the 50s or 60s. One of the best dessert wines I’ve ever tasted. Sweet but not overpowering and with wonderful acidity so you just want to keep downing the glasses. — 8 years ago
I've got the flu. It might be the medicine talking but this stuff is awesome! Wonderful color, body, complex multi hop flavor. Definitely one of my new favorites right along with whatever is in this cough syrup I'm downing. — 9 years ago
Gorgeous wine - holding myself from downing the entire bottle in one sitting. — 10 years ago
