Just another fool in the cellar.
Exceptional at the price point. Petrol notes coming in but not so pronounced as you might see from a Riesling. — 12 days ago

Excellent wine but price point is not equivalent to the bottle. — 15 days ago
At $28 usd an exceptional value for an Alsatian GC. 2016 vintage was challenging initially but progressively improved. Some higher acidity levels here but overall doing well. Floral freshness, citrus and a touch of petrol and waxiness with Meyer lemon and minerality throughout palate. Not a stunner but a steal at the price. — 2 months ago
Unpinot-esque. Super rich on the nose with winter warming spices, cinnamon and dates. blueberries with a richness on the palate, quite rich with a heap of vanilla and oaky tannins on the finish. A unique style in its own right, not necessarily something I would hold up as a shining example but certainly a well done bit of Marlborough. — 4 months ago
A solid wine on its own merits, taking away the rarity of finding a still Pinot Meunier outside of champagne. Reminiscent of a cru Beaujolais and more akin to a serious gamay than a typical Pinot. However, without an industry discount, $70 is a bit prohibitive. — 2 months ago
